Father`s Sympathy Poems
Don’t cry for Me Daddy
Don’t cry for me Daddy,
I’m right here.
Although you can’t see me
I see your tears.
I visit you often,
I go to work with you each day,
And when it’s time for you
to close your eyes ,
On your pillow is where I lay.
I hold your hand &
stroke your hair,
And whisper in your ear.
If you’re sad today Daddy,
Remember, I am here.
God took me home.
This we know is true.
But you’ll always be My Daddy
Even though I’m not with you.
We will never be apart,
For everytime you think of me,
Please know I’m in your Heart……….
Fathers Day Card from an Angel
A baby asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth
tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”
God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”
The child further inquired,
“But tell me, here in heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.”
“Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you.
And you will feel your angel’s love and be very happy.”
Again the child asked,
“And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me
if I don’t know the language?”
“Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you
will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will
teach you how to speak.”
“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?”
“Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”
“Who will protect me?”
“Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.”
“But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.”
“Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the
way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.”
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from
Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to
leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”
“You will simply call him, “Father”
Looking up into your eyes,
I hear you ask what I ponder,
I hear you guess with Mum my thoughts,
Well here it is Dad – what I wonder,
Will my hands be warm like yours?
Will my arms be as strong?
Will I always be right, Daddy
Even when I am wrong?
When I am hungry and I can’t speak,
Will you know just what to do?
When I cry and don’t know why,
Will you stay the whole night through?
You kiss my cheek and lift me high,
You raise me right up to the sky,
You cuddle me nice and tight,
And promise we will be alright.
Just then I know it is all true,
One day I will be just like you.
Sometimes life throws us curveballs
And nothing he does is fair
We know we have a lot of differences
But with a dad’s love, who cares?
Sometimes it seems like he doesn’t understand
And it is difficult to relate
But with a big bear hug and a look in his eyes
Some of my pain can go away
We don’t always have similar view points
When we disagree, we might shout
Yet when the day is over
Our love can work it out
It’s hard to reach common ground
When the road is really rough
I may feel like he’s always against me
Bu in truth, he couldn’t love me enough
Yes, life (and parents) throws us curveballs
But one thing is for sure
My dad is more than just a dad
He is a daughter’s cure
Dedicated to Brent Tucker
He may not be my father, but he will ALWAYS be my dad
Infants Remembered In Silence Poems
Oh Father, My Father
Close your eyes and feel me near
keep me inside your heart
let me live in your soul
you see through tears
the things we will never do
running across the fields of my youth
games never played
but it is not gone
those dreams you hold so close
for I live on in every child you see
little ones standing a lone… lost
or laughing in a playground
swinging so high
touching the tree tops
that is I
wanting just to love
feel my happiness in the song of a bird
see my sorrow in mother
hold her close forever
feeling your strength
for there will be one to come behind me
whether through God’s grace or
from a different calling
a child chosen through His hand.
For in darkness, a light will appear
even if it is just the dawn
signaling a new beginning
and as you gather my mother to your heart
release your tears
let the healing begin
and discover that I am here
in your dreams
in your tomorrows
Every rainbow is the path home
and if you should stumble
I am the wings that shall lift you

Hello there my sweet Daddy
It’s your Angel up above.
I know that you can’t see me
But I hope you feel my love.
I made my journey home
I’m as safe as a baby can be.
The only thing that is missing
Is having you up here with me.
I know that you are sad
And you think of me each day.
I’m safe up here in Heaven
Where Jesus and I play.
I watch over when you’re sleeping
I clasp my little hands and pray.
That God will give you comfort
During the time that I’m away.
You had dreams to watch me learn
Dreams to watch me grow.
But never had you dreamt
That you would have to let me go.
Being apart is the hardest thing
That we’ll ever have to face.
But up here in Heaven
I have a special place.
I know that you don’t understand
Why I had to leave.
But if you listen really close
You’ll hear my whispers in the breeze.
So on those days when you are sad
And you think you can’t go on.
I close my eyes and pray that God
Will give you strength to carry on.
Daddy, I love you oh so much
But now I have to go.
He promises to keep me safe and warm
until the day he calls you home.
And until the day that you come home
We’ll be preparing a place for you.
A place so beautiful you cannot imagine
Where the streets are paved with gold.
A place where we can run and play
With hills for us to roam.
I’ll meet you at the gates Daddy
With all my Angel friends.
Oh Daddy I forgot to mention
God will be there too with His precious Son.
Daddy, God wants me to tell you
That He is very proud.
Your loyalty and strength in faith
Has not gone unseen.
You will be blessed and protected
For all eternity.
God is calling softly Daddy
It’s time for me to go home.
So Daddy dear remember please
That I am always near.
I love you very much Daddy
I’ll be okay until you get here.
So remember Daddy, listen close
You’ll hear my whispers in the breeze.
You’ll hear my little giggles
As the wind tickles the trees.
You’ll hear me laugh and squeal with delight
As other children play.
These are my gifts to you Daddy
So you’ll know I’m near everyday.
Daddy, God is calling again
I really must go home.
I love you my sweet Daddy!

Fathers Day Poems from Baby in Heaven “MISS YOU DADDY”
Happy Father’s Day from Heaven
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy,
It’s me, Michelle.
I hope you, Mom and Austin
Are doing well.
I just want you to know
That I’m doing just fine.
I get to run and play
All the time!
So don’t cry, Daddy,
I love you so much.
I’ll ask Jesus to reach down
With a heavenly touch!
And you know that sunset
You see every night?
Well, God lets me help Him
Make it just right!
And the birds you hear in the morning,
Singing so pretty and sweet?
You’ve got it, that’s me also,
Giving you a sunrise treat!
So see, Daddy, I’m with you everywhere,
Though mostly in your heart.
And I just want you to be happy,
Even though we’re apart.
I love you, Daddy!
Love, Your Big Girl Michelle
